The CIRCI project partners, of which the TECOS Slovenian Tool and Die Development Centre is a part, discussed with the CIRCI voucher recipients the progress of the piloting of innovations for which companies have received innovation vouchers for new ways of using by-product materials from industrial processes. The Innovation Workshop of the Institute of Metal Materials and Technology touched upon additional ways to further exploit by-product materials, and the meeting concluded with a visit to the Innovation Voucher recipients.
The study tour, which visited 3 of the 7 CIRCI Innovation Voucher winners, offered a closer look at new innovative ways of reusing materials. Termit Moravče impressed with the process of rehabilitating agricultural land after extraction of raw materials, ELVEZ highlighted the possibilities of reusing by-product materials while presenting their production processes, and Adria Mobil presented a new product made of recycled materials which they will introduce in their range of motorhomes.
In addition to all companies above, Livar, CAP, Roto Eco and Ograje Kočevar were also awarded CIRCI innovation vouchers. The CIRCI project provides €15,000 to co-finance innovative ideas or projects with new ways of using by-product materials from industrial processes.
