PERMANET HUBs launching event
Open online event | 28th of April 2025
We are delighted to invite you to the Official Launch of the 3 REE Permanent Magnet Hubs of the PERmanent MAgnet Network for the European Transition (PERMANET) on Monday, 28th of April 2025.
Co-funded by the European Commission, PERMANET drives innovation across the full Rare Earth Element (REE) permanent magnet value chain. It is shaped around Three Interconnected Tech HUBs.
The aim of the HUBs is to provide a collaborative infrastructure that will enable EU companies and quadruple helix stakeholders to connect, collaborate and contribute to improve European self-sustainability in rare earth elements. PERMANET HUBs therefore materialize REE permanent magnet communities with the aim to drive innovation and enhance European resilience in sourcing, processing, producing and recycling REE permanent magnet.
We thus invite you to the introduction of the Sustainable REE Supply HUB, Circular REE Innovation HUB, and Advanced Manufacturing & Testing HUB — three strategic initiatives designed to strengthen Europe’s resilience in rare earth element (REE) sourcing, recycling, and magnet production.
The purpose of the event is not only to officially launch the three interconnected Tech HUBs within the PERMANET Project: it is also to understand the needs of each of the three deployment areas, engage stakeholders towards future collaboration and funding opportunities, and integrate the EU-wide ecosystem into one, coherent network.
