AM Connect 2026: International Conference on Research and Industrial Advances in Additive Manufacturing will bring together leading industry representatives, researchers, and innovators from Slovenia, Austria, and the wider European region on 23 and 24 September 2026 at the Faculty of Polymer Technology (FTPO) in Slovenj Gradec. You are kindly invited to learn more oabout practical applications of additive manufacturing (AM), along with innovation in materials and processes. Join the discussion and contribute your expertise.
AM Connect conference is intended for professionals and researchers who work with additive manufacturing in their daily processes: engineers implementing AM technologies in production, scientists continuously advancing materials and processes, and decision-makers evaluating the potential of AM to create competitive advantages.
Share knowledge and practical expertise in additive manufacturing
As the conference programme also focuses on real-world industrial applications, we invite you to submit abstracts of your paper for the second conference day in the following areas:
- New materials and sustainable feedstocks for AM
- Computational design and optimisation for AM
- AM process innovation, monitoring, and quality assurance
- European and national AM projects and initiatives
The call for papers is open to both industry professionals and researchers from academia. Submitted contributions will be evaluated by the scientific committee based on quality, originality, and relevance to the conference topics. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited — but not required — to submit a full paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
Deadline for abstract submission: 31 May 2026
Abstracts should contain 300–500 words and include motivation, methods, key results, and relevance to the AM Connect community. Submissions must be written in English and prepared using the prescribed template.
The conference is organised within the framework of the ADDCIRCLES project, in which TECOS Slovenian Tool and Die Development Centre is also a partner. The project is co-financed by the INTERREG SI-AT programme, which supports cross-border cooperation in additive manufacturing between Slovenia and Austria.
