TECOS Slovenian Tool and Die Development Centre hosted representatives of the Estonian tooling industry, ESTA Group (Estonian Special Tooling Association), on a two-day professional visit. The visit was primarily focused on exchanging experience and exploring new opportunities for networking and cooperation between Estonian and Slovenian companies.
The programme gave the Estonian guests an insight into the work of companies SILIKO, DIFA and Bizjan Orodjarstvo, providing a closer look at different aspects of manufacturing – from silicone product manufacturing and aluminium die casting to plastic injection moulding tools. The visits continued at companies Penca and Gorenje Orodjarna, as well as at TECOS. While exploring the development and technological capabilities of the development centre, discussions focused in particular on opportunities for future cooperation, both in European and other R&D projects and directly between companies.
The meeting created valuable opportunities for direct business contacts, knowledge and experience sharing, and, above all, new ideas that can grow into concrete business and R&D partnerships.
